Building shelters and facilities for the homeless population in our community is the heartbeat of what we do. HomeAid Southern Nevada brings together experts in the Construction Trades to partner with local service agencies that provide resources to the homeless community. It is through this partnership with the Building Industry that HomeAid is able to complete shelter build projects with exceptional quality by builders and local trade professionals that are building Las Vegas every day.
Shelter build projects are the reason HomeAid America was created. The home building industry had a desire to give back in their local communities and do so in a way that was both meaningful and impactful. These projects are done in partnership with local service providers whose work is aimed at helping the homeless in our community. Work is done to increase the number of available beds, as well as to provide services and outreach for the homeless population that so desperately needs them. HomeAid Southern Nevada takes on these projects after a rigorous application process and completes the projects with donations of time, labor and materials through our home builders, trades and suppliers.
Since we began our partnership with the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association in 2014, HomeAid Southern Nevada has given $1.2 million back to our community through shelter build projects.
Our projects have assisted 10, local service providers with building and renovating shelters and facilities to support them as they continue to help homeless in Southern Nevada.View Current Projects
